Landing in Atlanta's runway 8L from New York La Guardia on flight 367. I was trying to get a shot of the engine shell opening on the reverse but wasn't very successful. Great sound on the reverse thrust though. We flared and floated for a long time before touching down on the runway.

Albany Intl. Airport (KALB) at night in mod. winds, a US air 737 came in real low. I thought it was going to clip the fense (and our heads). The gear was literally about 30 feet above the fense when it cleared it. Be advised, theres some pretty intense language in this!!!

This 737 pilot makes his passengers poop their pants at a Kai Tak style approach at what is known as the "expressway" approach, (visual 31)at KLGA(LaGuardia). Despite my joking title, this is a common procedure known as "S turns". It's used at the pilot's discretion to provide some buffer between a departing and landing aircraft.

This is my first movie done with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It features a glider, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 737-800, and the legendary Mooney Bravo with G1000 GPS system installed on it. I used Gamecam and Microsft Flight Simulator X Deluxe Edition to do that film. The airports you will see are Princess Juliana Intl, Boston LOGAN Intl, and Ranch 2 which is located in the middle of a desert near the Grand Canyon National Park. I will be running flights from different airports every next Sunday from today.

Remembering the Ryanair 737-200s and the Aer Lingus (Shamrock) Boeing 737s. This is footage shot at Dublin Airport in summer 2005, just before the demise of these aircraft. Ryanair retired its 732s and Aer Lingus sold off all its 737-400s and 737-500s and now operates an all-Airbus fleet. Ryanair now exclusively flies a fleet of 737-800NG aircraft.

At 01:20 you can start to see some suburbs of Dublin. The area on the screen at 01:20 is called Coolock. The aircraft is still travelling west.
At 02:36 the aircraft passes over the Irish M1 Motorway and then at 02:49 over Swords Road.

On Board Southwest Boeing 737-300 during a sunset Landing in Providence on 22nd May 2007 around 8pm. Flight WN 1027 from Chicago Midway.
Sitting behind the wing on the left side. This flight had experienced some moderate turbulence but the cool evening air around Providence was so smooth that if you closed your eyes you would not think the aircraft was moving, until touchdown that is. We landed on Runway 23.

One of my flights into PHL several years ago, camera strategically wedged for great view and for those nervous passengers, there was no distraction or adverse safety factors. In other words, myself and the first officer were fully engaged in operating the aircraft. (personal disclaimer) You will hear the CAWS system in the background calling out altitudes and such. Beats working for a living, although the carrier I was flying for then went through bankruptcy and is only a shell of the company it was prior. such is the life of an airline pilot, closet full of old uniforms.

Airbus A321-200 and Boeing 737-800 Crosswind Landing
Inspired by the cool 777 and 747SP Crosswing Landing Testing video, I decided to do a few 50kts x-wind landings at LPMA airport in FSX. Decided to use the same song because it went well with atmosphere. Of course the landings aren't up to Boeing and Aibus test pilot standards, but they are safe. Hope you enjoy! Btw, these landings were done only with a joystick and keyboard to fully function all aircraft systems.

http://www.aviationvids.com Incident is a Boeing 737 landing at Birmingham, UK with the right landing gear missing, after tearing off the starboard gear when attempting to land at East Midlands Airport in bad weather. The pilot missed the runway and landed in the grass, doing extensive damage to the aircraft. He was able to fly some 40 miles to Birmingham, where the incident was caught on video by the West Midlands Police helicopter

concerns TOKYO (AP) A China Airlines jet bound for Taiwan returned to an
airport in southwestern Japan after experiencing trouble with its
speed indicators, officials said Friday. There were no injuries or
damage. The Boeing 737-800 left for the Taiwanese capital, Taipei, from
Saga Airport on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu following
repair work after a fracture was found in its fuselage last month,
said Transport Official Kenji Toyama. The 70-centimeter (28-inch) fracture was found Sept. 21, weeks
after a similar China Airlines aircraft exploded at another Japanese
airport. The plane took off from Saga Airport on Friday afternoon but
returned about 30 minutes later because there were discrepancies
between the speedometers for the main pilot and the co-pilot, Toyama
said, adding that the cause of fault was not immediately known. The jet was not carrying any passengers and there was no damage
to the plane, he said. Toyama said the plane had been slow to take off, using the entire
runway before becoming airborne. One of the eight lamps near the end of the runway was later
discovered broken, although it was unclear when the damage occurred,
he said. On Aug. 20, a China Airlines Boeing 737-800 that landed at
Okinawa's Naha airport exploded in a fireball at a gate seconds
after all 157 passengers and eight crew safely evacuated. Investigators found a bolt on the right wing slat had come loose
and pierced a fuel tank, causing fuel to gush out and catch fire. The incident was a blow to the Taiwanese airline, which has been
struggling to shake its reputation for having a poor safety record.
Bugs clogged speed-measuring tubes of trouble-hit China Airlines jet TOKYO, Oct. 9 Kyodo - Insects were found lodged in tubes used to measure the airspeed of a China Airlines jetliner that sustained a speedometer defect last week, according to a recent inspection by the Taipei-based company. Last Friday, the Boeing 737-800 aircraft failed to take off properly and hit a runway light as it was leaving Saga airport in Saga Prefecture for Taiwan. It returned to Saga shortly after takeoff, after the pilot and copilot discovered the readings on their speedometers differed. The company inspection showed that the so-called pitot tubes installed in the nose section of the plane were clogged with bugs and apparently indicated incorrect speeds at the time of incident, leading the pilots to fail to carry out appropriate operations. According to a mechanic of a Japanese airline company, the tubes are usually covered by a lid that prevents foreign substances from entering the tubes. If the tubes become frozen or clogged, they may not be able to perform and and could cause an incident, the mechanic said. The Japanese Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry is now examining how the bugs became lodged in the tubes. Most aircraft are equipped with three metallic pitot tubes whose inside diameters are around 6 millimeters. They are designed to measure air pressure gaps among the tubes, and thus determine the plane's speed and altitude. China Airlines has completed repairs of the pitot tubes and other parts of the Boeing 737-800 and plans to have it take off again on Wednesday to return to Taiwan. The incident took place after a 77-centimeter crack was found at the bottom of the tail unit of the same airplane when it arrived at Saga airport on Sept. 21. The Boeing 737-800 is the same model as the China Airlines plane that exploded at Naha airport in Okinawa Prefecture on Aug. 20.
